Put Johnny Quest and The Hardy Boys in a blender and out comes a highly entertaining and uniquely hilarious concoction of the adventurous and mundane. Thus The Venture Bros. is born.
Dean and Hank Venture are the sons of super-scientist Dr. Thaddius Venture. With the help of their bodyguard/government agent, Brock Sampson (voiced by the always-entertaining Patrick Warburton), the family Venture explores the outer reaches of the scientific world. Standing in their way is a panoply of evil-doers, among them Dr. Venture’s self-proclaimed arch-nemesis, The Monarch, a maniacal villain who’s life of treachery stems from his being raised by–you guessed it–monarch butterflies. It’s difficult to describe just what makes this show work, so find out for yourself as the The Monarch makes his evil-est entrance ever:
You can catch The Venture Bros. on the Cartoon Network every Sunday night @ 1am. Set your DVR accordingly.

Indeed, this is one of my favorite shows. I identify with the Monarch.
